Jack is a kindhearted man, forced to pay his parents' debts. He befriends Joke, from a rich family and a skilled thief going by the name of Joker. Something happens, and they don't meet for 5 years. Jack is now a debt collector, and joke is just trying to get by. They meet and their lives change forever.

For me, this whole drama was such a different experience from many others I've had. The acting, the storyline, it just felt so real and lifelike that I was an addict from Episode 1. It normally takes me some time to get interested in a series, but not this time, I was laser-focused from the get-go. The never-ending emotions rollercoaster this series took me on was intense.. Never at any point did this series disappoint me. Plus, all the actors are fit, so that didn't hurt, especially War. HOLY MOLY.  Also they actually used all the supplies they brought to the fight scene was satifiying to watch as most of the time its sitting somewhere forgotten until someone is on the verge of death. 

I don't think I can even put into words how real to me this series was. I felt the relationships between the characters in my bones, the betrayal, the love, the laughter in my heart. The whole time I was crying, laughing, cringing with the rest of them (and kicking my legs, giggling into my pillow).

what annoyed me though is that the main characters individually are always having their butts kicked (not as in too much fighting) as in they barely ever win their own fight without help. I get that it makes the scenes more realistic but It just annoyed me, and also the last epsiode I can't. If I talk about it I might burst into tears.

I would strongly recommend this series, the mafia storyline and the romantic comedy of it never outshining the other, blending together like the perfect blend of flavours in a smoothie. so you better watch this, you will not be disappointed. But don't watch the special episode- I've never been the same.

Is it spicy?

While being a cute-but-hot, slow-burning romance, there isn't much in the name of NC scenes, or at least not as graphically, but the bantering and playful arguing in that scene sent a tornado of butterflies in my stomach. 

There are few kisses, but when they do, let's just say no fish lips here. 

The series is hot without showing much steam on the screen.

 The acting in this whole series was spectacular, it made me feel exactly what the characters were feeling. I could clearly tell the vibe of the character without any exaggeration, you know how very often you get the "bad people" of a series to act very unaturally and it takes away from the character, there was none of that. The bad characters enfuriated me, which is how it's meant to be.

My favourite character overall had got to be the grandmother, I'm convinced that she is the person who held this whole storyline together, so many times she has saved people. Shes also an absoloute queen, loved everything she said. Her smile and way of thinking is so warm and kind, and the love she has for Jack makes me smile.

Jack and Joker: Special Epsiode 

I know I said I wouldn't talk about this but I just had to. This epsiode is bound to make you cry, I don't cry easily and this epsiode had me bawling (I'm not one for plot spoilers so you'l have to watch to find out). The storyline of this special was also very satifying, most of the times it just an elongated epsiode of the characters being happy together so I was very happy when this had some depth. Just a warning, WATCH WITH CAUTION!!!
